Open Library Cabinet - Yew - Useful Size

This open bookcase is crafted in Yew with brass embellishments and presented in superb condition. There is a additional brass centre plate at the under-skirt adding further interest.

Twin brass-capped reeded columns flank an open cabinet which benefits from a solid shelf at the mid-point.

A moulded edge top surface sits over the whole. The deep lower plinth design give the piece a feeling of solidity as befits the quality craftsmanship.

Overall this is a very nice item of 20th century antique furniture that is in excellent order throughout. The styling allows the piece to work well in a variety of locations and the compact proportions make this cabinet an unusual find.
