This is a superbly made 19th century antique walnut Dickens desk by Richard Crispin & Co , 6 Lloyds Avenue, London. Makers label on bone plaque.
In such original condition, this writing desk is complete with the period cut glass ink wells, original tooled leather writing surface and best quality 'Hobbs & Co' locks.
This antique Dickens desk features carved panels in the doors, satinwood veneered drawer fronts with all the period handles.
The quality throughout this antique walnut desk is excellent, the build, colour and finish is all superb.
The top section lifts off the two side pedestals.
