Antique quality William IV carved walnut leather library desk chair armchair...far, far better than most chairs of this period.
Quality, decorative and attractive, with no loose joints or wobbles.
Great proportions and styling, which would look amazing in the right location.
We believe that the chair is made of walnut or a similar show wood.
The chair has been recently reupholstered in a quality soft burgundy leather and is very comfortable.
No significant wood worm.
Overall maximum dimensions
65cmW x 72cmD x 94cmH (42cmH seat when sat on).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. We have not inspected components concealed beneath the upholstery.
