Circa 1890, carved mahogany Hepplewhite-style, wheel-back elbow chair. The back of the chair has foliate carved spokes around a central carved patera-like form. It has a generous-sized seat with a hand embroidered tapestry covering in perfect condition. The chair continues down on shaped tapered legs with spade toes.
