Welsh Pine Dog Kennel Cottage Dresser c1860
Here we have a gorgeous little Welsh pine dog kennel dresser from the Carmarthenshire/Ceredigion border c1860
This design of traditional cottage dresser has become increasingly hard to find, they are natural beauties with a gorgeously unpretentious simple look created by perfect proportions and pretty well grained timber.
Easily one of the nicest examples of a dresser from this region that we have seen in a long while and at just 4ft 8” wide it will fit almost anywhere.
Condition is absolutely outstanding throughout with not a dowel or nail out of place and the colour and grain are gorgeous. It stands at full original height and is superbly solid and sturdy. The drawer and cupboards fitted with lovely simple ceramic handles. A truly beautiful Welsh Dresser in every aspect.
Length 4ft 8” = 142cm. Base height 33” = 84cm
Base depth 16.5” = 42cm. Rack depth 5.5” = 14cm
Overall height 6ft 4” = 193cm. Max length at cornice 4ft 11” = 150cm
