This walnut double bed has just been cleaned and refinished. Now in nice tidy condition it is ready for use. Benefitting from a later base it now only needs your mattress of choice. The shape is good as can be seen in the pictures and the carving crisp. This French double bed (4'6" wide by 6'3"long) dates from around 1900 or maybe a touch later and has its original side rails in place which have good shape too ...........................................
We also have an other one due in that is on metal rails, but that is a rare king size bed, 5ft wide by 6ft 6ins long.
