An attractive 17th century and later wainscot oak and marquetry inlaid armchair. The high back having a floral marquetry inlaid top rail with applied bobbin turning. The centre panel having a marquetry inlaid vase of flowers with further applied turnings. The shaped arms having carved detail and turned supports with further carving to the seat rails. The whole raised on turned front legs with joining stretchers. Condition & colour - Very good. Dimensions:- Height…42’’/ 107cm. Width…21.5’’/ 54.5cm. Depth…21.5’’/ 54.5cm.
