A nice vintage Scottish Silver Skean Dhu made in Edinburgh and dating from c1956/57.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "TE" for Thomas Kerr Ebbutt, the Scottish Lion Rampant silver mark, the "castle" Edinburgh town mark and date letter "A" for 1956/57.
The blade stamped "Stainless Steel". The wooden hilt with basket weave engraving.
It is in very good overall condition. The silver mount at the bottom of the hilt slightly loose.
