A beautiful unused vintage Kigu powder compact!

The whole compact is gilded throughout with the Kigu all jeweller's gilt finish.

This highly durable finish has ensured that this beautiful handbag mirror has retained it pristine appearance to the present day.

The lid is decorated with a diamond cut star motif and border on a subtle etched background.

The base is adorned with a guilloche engraved design which is typically seen on Kigu compact mirrors.

The interior case is fitted with the original pristine powder well insert.

The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection.

The mirror bezel is signed KIGU MADE IN ENGLAND.

All clasps & hinges work perfectly.

The original pouch and washable sifter are included, as is a pristine powder puff.

Measures 8 cm diameter. Weighs 74.2 grams.

This compact is ideal for use as a handbag mirror, with all loose foundation and pressed foundation pans measuring 67mm diameter or less.
