A very nice, vintage, English Silver Bowl made by Mappin & Webb and dating from 1946.
A lovely two handled bowl with pierced rim.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "Mn&Wb" for Mappin & Webb Ltd, the anchor Birmingham town mark, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark and date letter "W" for 1946/47. Also stamped "Mappin & Webb Ltd".
