This is a good quality Vintage Sterling Silver Photo Frame. The frame is of upright oval shape with the visible picture size being 5ins x 3.5ins. The back of the frame and the strut are covered in royal blue velvet.

The marks on the side of the frame are somewhat rubbed and we haven't been able to identify the makers' mark but it was imported into London in 1985 and was probably made in Italy.

Condition is very good, with no dings or dents in the frame, no cracks or chips in the glass and just the superficial surface wear that has to be expected with use and the passage of time. The strut is secure and in good working order. Please make sure to view all the photographs.

Overall, the frame measures 14.5cm / 5.7ins high by 10.5cm / 4.1ins wide and with the strut open it is 7cm / 2.75ins deep. It weighs in at 118.5g / 4.2oz.

As per above, the marks are somewhat rubbed, but the clearly legible ones are STERLING and 925 for Sterling Silver, the astrological sign for Leo which shows it is a London import and the date letter L for 1985.
