A lovely late Victorian period upholstered tub armchair. Well made, with a solid walnut frame which is sturdy and strong. The detailing to the arms and the fluting to the legs are ebonised, a striking feature. The walnut timber has a good rich colour and patina. The upholstery is also in very good condition and the chair is very comfortable. This chair would fit into a number of different rooms in the modern home, eg living room, bedroom, office etc. It is offered for sale in excellent condition.
