A smart and very fine quality large antique Victorian desk, beautifully made from solid walnut. This dates from around the 1870-90 period.

The walnut has a gorgeous colour tone, with a lovely patina. The brass handles, escutcheons & locks are original, the drawers have fine dovetailed joints. This is nicely finished and polished on the back as well, with fielded panels on the sides, insides & the back, so can be used as a free standing item.

We have just had the top re-leathered, hand coloured and gold tooled. This has also been recently French polished, it is in excellent condition for its age. This desk has loads of useful working space & comes apart into three sections for easy transportation.
