Victorian Rosewood Prayer Chair
A fine example of a 19th century Victorian prayer chair or 'Prie Dieu' chair.
The chair has the best quality carved rosewood frame and cabriole shaped front legs.
The chair is covered in a beautiful needlework upholstery which is in immaculate condition.
The chair is in very good condition with a couple of old wood worm holes in the back of the frame that are long dead and have been re-treated. (Circa 1860)
