Victorian Pussy Oak (or Green Man as it is known in some parts) bureau

The bureau is superbly carved from solid oak, it has a carved fall and gallery which has a very attractively shaped top, the 4 long drawers have carved cats faces and if you are brave enough to put your hand into their mouths they make jolly good handles, all the drawers run well

The fall front is supported by long pull rests at each side of the top drawer, inside the fall there is a fitted interior with pigeon holes drawers and it has a new tooled tan coloured leather

This is a good old piece of antique furniture, it is in pretty good condition there are a few minor stains on the upper surface and some surface scratching but there is nothing structurally wrong with the piece
