Late victorian, oak bureau bookcase standing on a plinth base. The base with "roll top" opens to reveal "birds eye" maple framed drawers with a leather top writing slope. The writing top slides out to reveal four dummy drawers below two side opening drawers, and two spare slots with an assortment of canopied pigeon holes. The top section has two glazed doors enclosing three shelves with a turned railed pediment.
