Circa 1880. A late Victorian oak three-part pedestal desk. The top with a green leather tooled and gilded insert, broad banding with a stylish moulded fore-edge, three drawers in the frieze, the pedestals, each with a bank of three graduating drawers. All of the drawers have turned knob handles, the desk is polished on all sides, making it free standing, all resting on an enclosed oak plinth.
