This is a rare example of an early to mid Victorian nursing chair.

The chair is constructed from Rosewood and is intricately carved depicting a floral crest to the tall padded back and scrolls to the short cabriole legs, terminating with original brass castors.

The chair is covered in a floral material and is horse hair filled.
