Victorian inlaid davenport, standing on a platform base with porcelain casters. The top having a lift-up stationary compartment, with a red leather writing surface, which also lifts up to reveal four dummy drawers and one long opening drawer. There are four dummy drawers to the left side and four opening ones to the right of the base. The front supports being turned and carved. A superb example.
