Antique large Victorian gilt wall mirror overmantle.

This is a lovely good quality 19th Century mirror.

This is a lovely mirror, that is full of age, charm and character, with large proportions.

Wood, gesso and wire construction which is typical.

An impressive and rare find, that would look amazing in the right location...could be hung in portrait or landscape.

Replacement mirrored glass and plywood back.

Overall maximum dimensions 86.5cmW x 132cmH (excluding fixings)

Glass area 69cmW x 115cmH.

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with antique furniture. There is some cracking to the gesso (as is the norm) with some minor losses. The frame has been repainted and touched up. There are some historical extinct woodworm holes (back of frame) that we have treated for good measure.
