Antique large fine quality Victorian (French) overmantle or wall mirror C1890. Lovely charm and elegance.
This is a lovely, very rare mirror. Great frame in very good condition, which has only had minor losses and minor touching up over the years (some charming aging, wear and cracking to the finish)… looks great. Most of the original gilding remains.
An impressive and rare find, that would look amazing in the right location. No woodworm.
The original bevel edge mirrored glass is in good condition with only minor imperfections, light oxidation and a clear and sharp reflected image.
Overall maximum dimensions: 153cmH x 95cmW x 17cmD. Mirrored glass 112cmH x 67cmW.
In very good antique condition with minor historic knocks, marks, wear and imperfections, as is generally desirable with antique furniture.
