This is a very smart Victorian cast iron and brass double bed in super order with very attractive brass detail. The bed is in really good clean condition and both the brass work and the cast iron are in splendid order. It has a central decorative roundel to both ends of the bed beautifully set with mother of pearl and abalone shell in a star pattern.
This is raised on its original porcelain castors comes with its original tight fitting side irons and a timber latt base so simply requires a standard double mattress. The headboard measures 153 cms in height and the base is 122 cms high. The bed is 205 cms long overall and 140 cms wide.
