Victorian Carved Walnut Upholstered Bedroom Chair
An attractive carved walnut chair. We date this chair to the late 19th century.
The chair sits on two turned legs at the front and backward curved legs at the rear, the legs sit on ceramic castors.
The carved backrest frame curves down to the rear sides of the seat pad. The chair is upholstered in a striped green velour material.
The chair has a height of 35" (89cm) with a backrest height of 22" (56cm), a seat height of 13.3" (34cm), a seat width of 20.5" (52cm) and a seat depth of 18 (45cm).
This attractive chair remains in good solid condition with only minor surface marks commensurate with age and usage. The material has some very minor wear and marks. The frame has some minor wear, this is primarily to the legs that have some light indentations.
This remains a very stylish and elegant chair. It is very comfortable and supportive to sit on and will continue to provide rest and relaxation for many years to come.
