Victorian C1900 oak pedestal partner's desk
Antique quality large Victorian C1900 oak pedestal partner's desk.
Fabulous quality, proportions, colour, age and patina. No woodworm.
Full of character and charm...a rare find. Period brass castors (some wear as one would expect and one has been replaced with a period brass and ceramic castor).
Note that this is a one piece desk. We have a key for the 4 right hand drawers only.
The desk is solid, with no loose joints and the mahogany lined drawers slide freely. There is a cupboard door with working catch to the reverse side.
Overall dimensions 153cmW x 99cmD x 78cmH (60cmH knee hole).
There are historic knocks, marks, repairs, imperfections, cracks and alterations as is typical and normal with antique furniture. Recent replacement tooled antiqued leather top.
