Antique Victorian inlaid burr walnut davenport writing table desk.
This is a lovely quality davenport, that is full of age, charm and character.
Fantastic styling with columns and attractive inlaid marquetry.
4 active drawers (mahogany lined and slide freely). 4 dummy drawers on the LHS.
Later writing surface with some wear and patina.
No significant woodworm.
Lovely patina and colour, would look amazing in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions 55cmW x 54cmD x 80cmH x 68<73H writing surface.
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. No keys and locks are consequently untested. Some stains and marks inside the drawers (to be expected). Possibly later feet.
