Victorian Burr Walnut Davenport
A fine quality Victorian Davenport desk in beautifully figured burr walnut. This Davenport features a top with a pen box to the rear, and a leather inset fall lifting to reveal a well with two interior pencil drawers. Below this is a cupboard door to the right hand side, opening to reveal a bank of four graduated mahogany drawers, all with recessed brass handles, raised on a plinth base with original white china and brass castors.

Condition & Details of Restoration:
This item is in original structural condition. The polish has been refinished, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There are some old marks under the polish and minor repairs to the veneers in our opinion the photographs are representative. The leather inset is a replacement.
