Victorian Brass Four Poster Super Kingsize Double Bed

This majestic piece must have been designed for a person of high rank, it has a regal look with its very heavy embossed solid Brass Crown at its highest point, the crown is supported on high by curved brass tendrils
The head board is decorated with the most finely forged roses, the brass bed posts have deeply embossed decoration and the theme of leaves and fleur-de-lys and leaves is carried all the way around the top pelmet of the bed
There are brass hanging rails around the top of the bed, suspended from these there are heavy lined drapes made in Gold Toile de Jouy

The bed is in good and sound condition, it has been fully restored it has only very minor dings, this is a unique design and will require a very large new residence, it comes with an old divan type base and requires a 72” x 77” mattress
The bed breaks down for transportation, it is 112” high at the crown the overall width is 75” it is 85” long
