This is an antique rosewood Victorian jewellery box, dating from around 1870, lined in dark blue velvet. It has delicate mother of pearl set into the domed top, matched by the escutcheon on the front and echoed by small pearls inset into the interior of the lid. It is a perfect size for watches, necklaces and other jewellery, and would make an ideal gift for a woman or man.

Dimensions: Width 25cm, Depth 9cm, Height 7cm.
The box is in excellent condition with beautiful grain and shine, and only very minor marks. The lining is in perfect condition, and the key turns smoothly.
