An adorable Victorian sterling silver bracelet. The linear forms and oriental imagery of the bamboo plant are so typical for Aesthetic Movement jewellery / jewelry and this piece is charming in every way. The bird depicted is a swallow which is a talisman to give the wearer a safe journey and return home. The bracelet is marked 'STERLING SILVER' on the clasp and also two other places. The clasp and hinge work perfectly. The original sterling silver safety chain gives added security. Each jewellery / jewelry purchase is shipped in a pristine velvet clad presentation case.
