Victorian 15ct Gold Mounted Cameo Brooch c1880
Beautiful Victorian 15ct Gold Mounted Shell Cameo Brooch with Presentation Case. The inner mount is solid gold and the outer mount is plated. Made circa 1880
The fabulous subject cameo is hand carved from Victorian bullmouth shell.
The ornately decorated frame is engraved around the cameo shell. Overall in very good condition with no damage to the cameo shell. Still crisp and well defined. General light wear to the backing commensurate with age, but nothing that detracts or affects its use or look. Measures approx. 5cm.
