Beautiful little Regency rosewood and marble top chiffonier side cabinet c.1820. Unusually small, just 33″ wide. Original white marble top with thumb moulded edge over two slim drawers and a two door cupboard. A particularly good looking cabinet with well figured rosewood veneers to the front and sides, pleated silk door panels behind diamond pattern brass grills, flanked with turned and carved faux columns. Unusual anthemion motif brass mounts to the drawer fronts and raised on carved and gilded claw feet. A few small nicks to the edges of the marble, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. The silk panels have been left as found but would be easily replaced if preferred. Keys supplied for both the drawers and the cupboard.
