Very rare French stationary / filing secretaire
Very rare French stationary / filing secretaire from a bureau - plat - table desk. Beautifully done shape with quarter venering enclosing 8 individual draws with sides moulded to fit cabinet. The drawers have leather fronts with gilt embossed edges and brass / gilt handles and ormolu mounts to the side. A unique stand alone piece which would look very impressive in many settings.
