We are pleased to offer the stunning French Commode Chest of Drawers in wonderful condition. The original variegated marble top is 3 cm thick. The drawers all run smoothly and all the handles and are mounts are original. The handles bear a mark on the underside (see photo) presumably the maker or foundry mark. The chest is of beautiful form being serpentine and bombe to the front and sides. Kingwood and tulip wood has been used and the construction is of the best quality.
We have had this piece re finished to a very high standard and it really is a striking piece of antique furniture in excellent condition for the home.
