Pocket Watch Geneve 1830

A steel verge open face pocket watch with a beautiful painted dial, made in Geneve, Switzerland in 1830. The pocket watch is complete with key and chain.

Dial: The off-centre white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with black outer minute divisions. The dial has nice blued hands. All around the dial is a beautifully handpainted scenery to depict OLD Father Time.

Movement: The verge escapement movement with fusee has a pierced bridge cock. The movement has a silver disc regulator and has round cylinder shaped baluster pillars. The watch is in good working condition however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement is signed: “Fs Wifs & Menu, A Geneve” and numbered: 14074.

Case: This verge pocket watch comes in a nice silver case with a smooth finish. All the hinges clasp and the buttons are strong with case closing firmly.
