Here we have a very unusual Georgian painted hardwood pedestal or stand. Could be used for an urn, a nice bronze or a large vase. Originally made to look like the base of a cast iron urn stand.

Has been re-decorated in Victorian times but the original blue / green finish is underneath.

Beautifully decorated on the front with carved vines and grapes.
