An unusual Georgian cuban mahogany drop-leaf side table.

c1800.

Lovely character, and constructed from incredibly thick and heavy cuban mahogany.

A rather charming unusual design, having a single drawer to the front, with turned wooden handles, and a gate leg action to the back, opening the table to a large square. Pine lined drawer with original lock.

Standing on turned and tapering legs with club-feet.

Solid, sturdy and strong.

Rich, warm patina.

In good antique condition. General expected signs of wear and use.
