Collection of three French dressmaker’s mannequins or dummies of various periods from c.1900 to mid 20th.c. An interesting reflection of the changing styles in women’s fashion, notice the differences in the silhouette between the wasp-waisted Edwardian mannequin with its unusual cast iron base, the more ‘boyish’ 1920’s model and the pointer bust of the 1950’s. Maker’s names to each, the two earlier dummies by the famous Stockman of Paris. Good condition with some typical wear.
