The Ultimate Edwardian Antique Picnic Hamper.
The Ultimate Edwardian Antique Picnic Hamper.
This antique picnic hamper is really outstanding quality, in excellent, hardly used and very complete condition.
English and made around 1900-10 by the London makers 'C.W.S and S', the hamper is stamped with this and also 'Manufactured in London'.
The fine wicker hamper opens up on top and also the front drop down to reveal a startling array of table ware.
It consists of
2 lemonade bottles, 4 small enamel plates and 1 large enamel plate, 4 glasses, a salt, pepper and mustard jar, a pottery butter jar, a pottery preserves jar, 4 sandwich boxes, a corkscrew, mustard spoon, salt spoon and 4 cutlery place settings, knives, forks and spoons.
This is all packed very well in individual compartments within this delightful Edwardian antique hamper.
All in excellent, clean and complete condition.
Perfect for a summers day outing, maybe in the classic car.
