The Golden Collar, Sax Berlin
The Golden Collar.
Sax Berlin
Spectacular gift for someone, by this real up and coming British artist
Oil and Gold leaf on canvas. The subject of this exquisite picture is ethereal and mystical, reflecting the many cultural influences of the artists' studies. The use of colour and nuance give depth to the central figure and the subtle depiction of facial features lend her an air of mystery. The Golden Collar is constructed of paints made with original pigments ground in the artist's studio with muller and slab. In September 2012 two similar works by this artist sold in Aspen Colorado for $6500 each.
