Superb Victorian Set Of Four Rosewood Dining Chair
-Welcome to Mersham Manor Antiques-
An elegant, elaborately carved set of four Victorian rosewood dining chairs of excellent quality.
c1840.
Stuffed serpentine shaped seats, over carved and cabriole forelegs, with sabre back supports.
Lovely rich warm deep colour, and wonderful figuring to the rosewood.
Upholstered to a very high standard using traditional methods. The fabric is black and gold stripped, with a bright gold floral motif, which is in very good condition.
All chairs are in excellent antique condition, very solid, sturdy and strong, with minor expected signs of age and use.

Height-80cm.
Seat width-46cm.
Seat depth-45cm.
