A superb and rare Victorian inlaid burr walnut davenport. Of excellent construction in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. Decorated throughout with lovely floral marquetry inlay. The top is surmounted by a brass gallery and has a leather mounted writing slope with gilt tooled decoration. The slope lifts up (lockable with key supplied) to reveal a fitted interior. To the front and sides are pull-out slides. All standing on a magnificent lyre-ended base in solid walnut with carved detailing and open fretwork panels. Offered for sale in excellent condition with a great colour, ready to go straight into the home.
