Superb Quality Antique Burr Oak Bookcase
Superb Quality Antique Burr Oak Bookcase.
This mid 19th century antique oak bookcase is beautifully proportioned and is excellent quality.
Made to an incredible high quality, around 1850 by the antique furniture makers J.W.Snowden & Sons, Finsbury Pavement, London.
The top glazed bookcase section has rounded corners and cornice, inside behind the doors which have the original wobbly glass are six adjustable oak shelves.
The two solid oak doors in the lower section have burr oak, raised panels.
The burr oak is used to decorative effect on the sides, cornice and plinth also.
A great antique oak bookcase in oak and in superb clean condition, a wonderful colour.
