STYLISH 1950'S 'SPUTNIK' ENGLISH SOFA.

This unusually designed big three seater sofa/settee is very well made on a heavy wooden frame with original feather filled cushions.

The original blue fabric has faded, now requiring re-upholstery.

This is a rare shape in vintage sofas/settees and will look amazingly individual when re-upholstered in a fabric of your choice.

We call it the 'Sputnik' sofa inspired by the Sputnik space program of the time.

In very solid and strong condition.

A very generous size and comfortable too.
