An elegant fully hallmarked sterling silver and rose gold purse mirror. Crafted by L. E. McCann this piece was assayed at Birmingham in 1946. The exterior case has an attractive engine turned design of tiny diamond shapes and a very pretty contrasting rose gold thumb catch. The hinge and catch work perfectly. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The mirror has some age related marks but nothing which spoils the enjoyment of this beautiful antique compact. An immaculate velvet pouch is included with this order. Measures just over 2 3/4 inches x 2 3/4 inches (7 cm) and weighs 135.1 grams.
