Sterling silver compacts Crisford & Norris silver compact mirror made in 1951. The compact is engraved with the initials B S. An ideal 25th anniversary gift for her.This super fully hallmarked sterling silver powder compact made by Crisford & Norris & assayed at Birmingham in 1951. The compact has been very well cared for & it is delightful. The lid & base have very attractive engine turned designs without any damage. The lid has an oblong cartouche inscribed 'B.S.' All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The mirror gives an excellent reflection. The mirror bezel, powder well lid & case are all hallmarked. This compact comes with an unused silk & fabric puff. Measures just over 7.3 cm & weighs 100.3 grams. Free lavishly illustrated history of this piece included.
