Silver Presentation Key, Hinckley Parish Hall 1935
A cased English Sterling Silver Presentation Key made by T & J Bragg Ltd and dating from c1935.
The key is hallmarked with the maker's mark "T&JB" for T & J Bragg Ltd, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Birmingham "anchor" town mark and date letter "L" for c1935/36.
The key bears the presentation inscription "Presented to the Rt. Rev. Bishop Willis OBE DD at the opening of Hinckley Parish Hall" and on the reverse side "By EH Crump FSI., Architect, September 7th 1935."
