An original silver JW Benson Bank Ludgate hill topwind open face pocket watch, hallmarked for Silver London 1916, made in England.

DIAL: The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has blued spade hands and a subsidiary seconds dial at the six. The dial is signed: "J.W. Benson, London". The protective bevelled original glass is in great condition.

Movement: The anchor lever movement has blued screws. The frosted movement has a ¾ plate and is signed: “THE BANK, BEST LONDON MAKE, E4208, J.W. BENSON, LUDGATE HILL, LONDON”
The movement is in good working condition however we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch.

Case: The watch lies in a silver case with a smooth finish with a Military arrow and marked R.A. The inner side of the case is stamped JW Benson and hallmarked for Silver London 1916 and numbered: 4208.
