Silver Fusee Chronograph Pocket Watch

Signed E. Wise, Manchester.
Movement no. 22097.
Dial signed Centre Seconds, 22097, Chronograph.
Approximate dimensions: diameter 58.9mm, weight 156 grams.
The dial is a crisp white.
It has two areas of hairlines at the edge by 2 and 6. Please see photos.
Otherwise, the dial is in very good condition.
The substantial silver case has no personal inscriptions with the cartouche vacant.
Silver maker's mark for Alfred Gurney, Case maker, Smithfield Street, Coventry
Open the case back with your thumbnail to set wind and set the hands with the supplied key.
The chronograph function is operated by sliding the switch on the side of the case by the 2. This switch starts and stops the centre seconds hand. It does not reset it to zero.
There are surface marks associated with normal use and age.
The fusee lever movement has been serviced and is working well.
Movement guaranteed for 12 months.
A big chunky watch that is a pleasure to handle.
