A high gauge Silver Double Photo Frame,unusually made to be hung the Wall. This was obviously a Commemorative Frame made by Mappin and Webb in 1943,it housed two facsimile signed photos of the then King and Queen.The two original Photos (see picture)are now enclosed within the Frame behind the Oak backing.Hallmarks for London 1943.It measure 41cms x 27cms. I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antiques Emporium,Lewes,E.Sussex and also The Arcade, The Corn Exchange,The Pantiles, Tunbridge Wells..If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in either Shop.
