A good cased pair of Antique, George V, English Sterling Silver Butter Dishes & Knives made by the well reknowned firm, the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company Limited, 112 Regent Street, London.
All items are hallmarked with the maker's mark "G&S Co Ltd" for the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company Limited, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Leopard's Head London town mark and date letter "r" for 1912/13.
In addition the dishes are stamped with the maker's name "Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company Limited, 112 Regent Street".
The items are complete with their original case, the interior of the case bearing the maker's name "Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company Limited, 112 Regent Street, London" and also "By Royal Appointment to H.M The King" indicating the firm have the Royal Warrant.
